“CTV applauds the Sixth Circuit Court for showing proper judicial restraint in allowing Michigan’s Marriage Amendment—which was passed by more than two million voters in 2004—to stand. The movement to redefine Marriage has recently gained momentum throughout the nation from activist Federal Judges who have been negating the votes of citizens in multiple states. Marriage is designed to be only between a man and a woman. This is a self-evident truth that Michiganders overwhelmingly enshrined in our State Constitution and should not be tampered with.”
